We are developing a non-invasive, affordable and fast point-of-care testing device that can screen early stages of CKD with 80% accuracy. This device can be used in GP clinics or for home-testing by patients at high risk of developing CKD including diabetic and hypertensive patients. Current dipstick tests used in GP clinics are 32-46 % accurate in detecting early stages of CKD  often miss early cases. There is no device on the market with a digital output for screening early cases of CKD, and the current techniques are colour-based which can often be difficult to interpret leading to low accuracy in results. CreaSense would be the only affordable, accurate and fast diagnostic device giving results in a digital format based on albumin to creatinine ratio. We would like to speak to industry experts to understand the commercial potential of our technology and potential routes to market of this device.
